Application The Alpha resistor components consist of fully welded wirewound resistors, mounted in silica sand, insulated with Micanite and mounted in an anodized aluminium house.

Application The CBW is a new type of Water Cooled Brake Resistor. It combines the advantage of water cooling with the high pulse load ability of the traditional aluminium housed Alpha resistors.

Application Two CBT 400 resistors mounted in a small load bank. The nominal power is 3kW and the resistor works at 2.5kVAC.

Application Reinforced versions used as Fault Ride Through Power Dump Resistors for Wind Turbines and standard versions used in industrial power applications where capacity for large impulse loads compared to average load is required.
OEM-ALPHA
Application This CBS resistor is a low temperature rise load dump resistor. It has a rise of surface temperature of 50K after 440kW in 5 sec.
